Uche Ukatu was born in Nigeria, West Africa, and raised in Los Angeles, California. He started his undergraduate studies at Los Angeles Southwest College, later attended the University of Southern California, and received his Bachelor’s in Political Science from California State University Dominguez Hills. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from California School of Law, in Santa Barbara.
Mr. Ukatu has over 25 years of legal experience and has established a record of success in plaintiff and defense firms, handling cases from inception through trial, appeals and beyond. His legal career encompasses experience from over 50 law firms, legal departments of noteworthy companies, and The State Bar of California in Los Angeles as a probations deputy assistant. He has assisted attorneys, judges, paralegals and staff in several areas of practice, including but not limited to: Insurance defense, personal injury, toxic torts, construction defect, intellectual property, real property, immigration law, corporate law, business litigation, title litigation, civil rights litigation, contract disputes, and criminal law, in county and district courts as a legal assistant, consultant, specialist and paralegal.
He has a great enthusiasm, respect, and admiration for the legal process, with a strong focus on developing and maintaining client trust.
