Gayane Mkrttchian


Gayane Mkrttchian, was born in Armenia. She is a graduate of California State University of Los Angeles, earning a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with emphasis in Law and Society. Ms. Mkrttchian earned her Masters Degree in Social Gerontology, summa cum laude from California State University of Los Angeles. She also is a seasoned paralegal having earned her Paralegal Certificate from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), magna cum laude.

Prior to joining Hosp, Gilbert & Bergsten, Ms. Mkrttchian worked as a complex litigation trial paralegal on high value cases including construction and pharmaceutical matters.  Ms. Mkrttchian has handled construction defect cases for both public and private property owners.  Ms. Mkrttchian also has substantial experience in both state and federal cases; including IP  litigation/prosecution and class action pharmaceutical litigation.  Ms. Mkrttchian has experience in preparing for and assisting at trials/arbitrations.

Ms. Mkrttchian is an Adjunct Professor at CSULA and other where she teaches Advanced Civil Procedures and other Paralegal sequence of courses.  Ms. Mkrttchian values her time with her parents.  When not working or teaching, she enjoys playing classical piano and violin.  She also enjoys attending philharmonic concerts and the opera, hiking, and listening to country music.
