Rolando J. Castellanos

Paralegal

Rolando J. Castellanos was born in Los Angeles, California, on April 2, 1977.  He attended Los Angeles City College and completed certification courses in Paralegal Studies and Recording Studio Technology while working as a bicycle courier for law firms throughout the Downtown Los Angeles area.  This provided opportunity to grow in the legal community by working and managing a court services department for almost ten years at a major international law firm, among others.

Mr. Castellanos has over 10 years of experience in all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including products liability with an emphasis on the defense of defective tire and tread separation matters, premises liability (slip/fall incidents), employment/labor disputes, and workers compensation matters.  Mr. Castellanos has experience in managing a pre-litigation volume-based program for a well-known Japanese tire manufacture where his duties were to negotiate and settle low yielding property damage claims from customers who experienced property damage losses due to defective tire issues.

Mr. Castellanos is also certified through the California State Bar as a Paralegal to appear as a client representative in Workers Compensation Appeals Board matters. He has negotiated and settled liens upon authority on behalf of many client lien claimants.

In his spare time, Mr. Castellanos is a registered volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America in the Valle Del Sol District.  He is an Assistant Scoutmaster with his son’s troop, Troop 483 out of Glendora, California.  Mr. Castellanos is also Wood Badge trained, which is an internationally recognized advanced leadership training offered through Boy Scouts and is akin to executive level training courses specializing in communication skills, managing and resolving conflict, diversity training, and team building.
