Brett Nicole Taylor
Associate Attorney
Brett Nicole Taylor was born in Tampa, Florida, on November 4, 1984. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2007, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration: International Business concentration, and a minor in Law and Psychology. In 2010, she graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law. She also received a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law.
While in law school, Ms. Taylor was on the Dean’s Honor List, a member of the Moot Court Board, and received the CALI awards for Constitutional Law and Criminal Law, which is given to the student receiving the highest grade in the course. She participated in Pepperdine’s London Study Abroad Program, where she interned at an international business law firm. She also interned at the Pepperdine Legal Aid Clinic, where she provided legal assistance to indigent clients.
Before joining Hosp, Gilbert, Bergsten & Hough, Ms. Taylor served as an extern for the Honorable James S. Moody, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She also clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and a construction defect law firm in Santa Monica.
Ms. Taylor is admitted to practice in all California State Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She is also admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the International Honors Legal Fraternity of Phi Delta Phi.
