Kirk Hamilton, born in Kingston, Jamaica, was raised in Southern California. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he received dual degrees in Political Science and American Literature. While attending USC, Mr. Hamilton was an active volunteer in the community, a council member for the law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta, and president of the Student Writers of America, USC chapter, while working part-time as legal clerk for a downtown Los Angeles law firm.

Mr. Hamilton has over six years of paralegal experience, ranging from asbestos litigation to family law, with special emphasis in tort litigation for insurers and self-insured corporate clients. Specifically, Mr. Hamilton has specialized knowledge in personal injury, premises liability, product liability, worker's compensation law and general negligence claims. He also has years of experience in trial preparation and evidence presentation, with a perfect track record for being part of the winning litigation team.

Mr. Hamilton is known for his creative problem solving, attention to detail and personable demeanor and has brought his innovative style to clients such as Universal Studios of Hollywood and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

In his time away from the office, Mr. Hamilton is still active in the community, volunteering at a soup kitchen sponsored by his church. He is part of the AVID Athletes Organization, assisting underprivileged students balance between excelling in academics and sports, and occasionally judges mock trial and debate competitions for his high school debate club. He is also currently writing his first novel.
